1. What prompted you to choose Istituto Modartech?
I have always dreamed of becoming a fashion designer.
My grandfather, aware of my desire, did some research and recommended this university to me, thus giving me the opportunity to start my path in fashion. Modartech opened to me a completely unknown world in which I discovered horizons and sunrises that lived only in my imagination.
2. How did the Fashion Design course contribute to your professional career in the Product Office of Giorgio Armani?
The academic and laboratory preparation that Modartech provided me helped a lot in this new adventure, providing me with a 360-degree vision of fashion.
The training experience within a university of this type has given me a solid theoretical and practical preparation from graphic design to the study and application of materials and processes essential to create your own collection.
In addition to the didactic aspect, the human and experiential aspects were also important. In these years I have grown as a woman, maturing, making myself more confident and aware.
3. What role do you play at Armani and what are your activities?
I work in the Product Office of EA7 UOMO, where I follow collections and special projects. I am lucky to have a beautiful team that involves me in meetings, fittings and supplier meetings. It is very important to feel part of something.
4. The best memories related to Istituto Modartech?
The day my collection showed in Milan during Fashion Graduate Italia.
Seeing my creations on the catwalk thrilled me a lot.
Finally I saw my dream come true, after a thousand sacrifices. In my life and in the world we live in, resilience is never enough.
5. What advice would you give to future designers?
I would tell them to never give up on their dreams, to always look forward, despite the difficulties they will encounter because the final goal will repay them for all the sacrifices made.
Another aspect to give importance to is precisely the concept of resilience, the theme of my collection, an individual characteristic that is worth developing and applying in everyday life.
