Istituto Modartech participates in the program “I Fatti Vostri” on RAI 2.
As part of the “Moda di Moda” column hosted by Stefano Dominella, president of the Gattinoni maison, alongside Adriana Volpe, in the episode of Wednesday 9 November 2016 a student from the Pontedera school Daria Locchi will be a guest.
Daria has just completed her training course within the Fashion Design and Planning Course and, as part of the collective project “Urban Rider Collection” she has created a collection designed for modern haute couture centaurs drawing inspiration from 70 years of Vespa, the Piaggio two-wheeler which celebrated its birthday in 2016.
A collection of great appeal that found its maximum valorisation in the context of the international Mittelmoda competition – The Fashion Award, winning the Lectra Special Prize for the most innovative total look.
The creations of the student of the Modartech Institute were chosen to be presented on RAI 2, in the showcase dedicated to young talents, promises of Italian fashion. Daria will present her own creations, design proposals of absolute interest that revisit the suggestions of “dolce vita” highlight key factors such as craftsmanship, innovation in shapes and materials and the essential aspect of sustainability.
The RAI 2 stage represents a unique opportunity to present the specialized skills acquired and project ourselves towards the future of fashion.
