Modartech joins the Grand Tour AFAM project

An international project to promote italian culture and creativity worldwide

Istituto Modartech takes part in the Grand Tour AFAM project, an international initiative designed to enhance and promote Italian culture and creativity worldwide. The project involves 16 partners, including 14 AFAM institutions (Higher Education in Art, Music, and Dance) and 2 major public institutions, La Sapienza University and the National Research Council. Its goal is to showcase the uniqueness of Italy’s artistic and cultural heritage.

STRUCTURE

The project, with a total duration of 24 months, is divided into two phases:
  • CREATING IN ITALY: During the first year, this phase focuses on creative production and research, organizing events, laboratories, exhibitions, and workshops in various Italian cities. This journey invites students, faculty, and researchers to explore and experience Italy’s artistic and cultural excellence firsthand.
  • NETWORKING: The second phase takes place abroad and includes an international contest for students from AFAM institutions and an international roadshow. These events are designed to promote Italian aesthetics and beauty on a global scale through exhibitions, performances, and artistic residencies.

GOALS

With the support of the Ministry of University and Research (Directorate Decree 124/2023, INTAFAM Project 00029), the Grand Tour AFAM aims to strengthen the role of AFAM institutions in preserving and promoting Italian culture and the Made in Italy brand. The project also seeks to enhance the visibility and accessibility of Italy’s cultural, musical, choreographic, and artistic heritage, making it more attractive to an international audience and bolstering Italy’s presence in the global artistic landscape.

Istituto Modartech’s participation in this project represents a tangible commitment to fostering and disseminating Italian creativity and expertise on a global scale.
