The students of the Communication Design degree course engaged in an editorial graphic exercise for the fashion, lifestyle, and trends magazine “The Players”, which is distributed at the most renowned fashion fairs, from Pitti Firenze to Première Vision Paris.
The future designers were asked to graphically reinterpret the magazine’s masthead and internal pages using graphic design programs, reflecting the magazine’s mood, style and spirit. This graphic and editorial rebranding exercise allowed the students to express their creative soul and experience different digital techniques firsthand.
From a graphic moodboard that recalled the magazine’s colors, styles and lettering, to the study of the color and lettering of the logo, culminating in the graphic design of the cover, the masthead and the layout of an internal page of the magazine.
