Combining sustainability and innovation in fashion, the re-fashioning project launched by DHL Express Italy in collaboration with the National Chamber of Italian Fashion which involved Modartech students of degree course in Fashion Design.
Young designers were called to reinterpret the old uniforms of DHL couriers, transforming them into new fashion concepts through upcycling.
From the brief to the analysis of the garments, from the sketches to the presentations of unconventional outfits, capable of embracing genderless aesthetics and dreaminess, the graphic sketch proposals of Erika Guarino emerge, Alessia Leone and Alberto Santarnecchi. The sketches were shared on the social channels of DHL Express Italy, where the Instagram community voted Erika Guarino as the winner through a survey.
For her, the opportunity to produce and present her own garment at the Fashion Hub of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion in Milan.
