Wednesday 15 January, Istituto Modartech returns to the fore at The Social Hub in Florence with the event “Fashion Journey | Celebrating the Districts of Made in Italy”, on the occasion of Pitti Immagine Uomo 107, a prestigious showcase for the Fall/Winter 2025/26 collections.
At the centre is a workshop dedicated to the peculiarities of Italian production, from materials to manufacturing techniques. A journey into the heart of our country’s craftsmanship and manufacturing tradition with a talk reserved for students and teachers with the contribution of some AFAM academies representing the main fashion districts.
Following the Creative Exhibition, a selection of projects created by Modartech students from the Fashion Design degree course. Collections that reflect a balance between tradition and innovation, the result of collaboration with a network of technical partners with whom we share intentions and values. This synergy between training and the corporate world gives life to creations that reinterpret arts and crafts in a contemporary way, combining craftsmanship and entrepreneurship. During the event, live performance by some Modartech professionals to create artisanal creations in real time, illustrating techniques and processes aimed at offering those present an engaging and immersive experience.

The initiative also represents an important opportunity to learn about Modartech, offering the possibility of immersing oneself in the atmosphere of Pitti, admiring an exhibition of high-quality craftsmanship, interacting with students and teachers and discussing with industry professionals.
The event is part of the calendar of initiatives of the “Grand Tour AFAM“, a project financed by PNRR funds to promote and internationalize the AFAM network, through the activation of activities aimed at preserving and promoting Italian culture and Made in Italy.
