Concorso Nazionale Professione Moda Giovani Stilisti – RMI is a prize event launched by CNA Federmoda, with the patronage of Altaroma, that takes place in Rome in July and will feature three young emerging talents from the Three-year Undergraduate Course in Fashion Design who will present their creations in the CLOTHING and FOOTWEAR-ACCESSORIES sections during the event in Rome.
Collections and accessories developed during the three-year course in Fashion Design with the release of a First Level Academic Diploma, equivalent to the Short Degree that talk about craftsmanship, Made in Italy, sustainability and social inclusion.
Two collections were selected for the Clothing section: “Chimney Sweep Shout” by Serena Carpita, which takes you back to the years of the first industrial revolution during which William Blake denounced the conditions of chimney sweep children and the exploitation of nature by man through outfits that speak of craftsmanship and sustainability.
“Foggy Road” by Chiara Volpi inspired by the historical and social context of the First World War. Light garments, hand embroidery, prints and technical accessories communicate the individual’s growth path.
For the Footwear-Accessories section, projects from Lisa Taddei’s “Black Gold” collection were selected. Accessories that enhance the leather processing typical of the Tuscan districts and give voice to the social inclusion of African culture.
