Meeting with Nicola Genovese
The effectiveness of a Fashion School is measured above all in terms of absorption by the world of work. A fashion school must be attentive to the needs of the market to best cultivate talents and make them attractive to companies. Nicola Genovese is a young stylist, former student of Istituto Modartech, who, keeping an excellent memory of his training path, agreed to give his testimony on the occasion of last edition of the Student Hall during the conference Fashion & Training and to answer 3 short questions that summarize its path in summary.
1. Who you are and what you do now?
My name is Nicola, I am 32 years old, I live in Viareggio, a beautiful seaside town and I have been working in the fashion sector for about 8 years as a designer.
2. What led you to Istituto Modartech and why you chose it?
I did a 360° training research evaluating various types of different realities. Modartech seemed to me a concrete and dynamic school, with a close link with what are the school methods and the true design process that takes place within the companies.
3.What did Modartech leave you? What are the values that it has transmitted to you that have helped you most in the work?
After this experience, I was able to face an intense working path relying on a good basic preparation and a ‘laboratory’ method that helped me immediately to be ready for the various company requests.
