Finalists at Milano Moda Graduate

Adele Rasini and Sebastiano Ratti on the runway at the September Milano Fashion Week competition

Milano Moda Graduate is celebrating its tenth edition, and this year two students from Istituto Modartech’s Fashion Design degree program will participate as finalists in the competition organized by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana dedicated to Italian fashion and design schools. Among the selected finalists are Adele Rasini and Sebastiano Ratti, who will present their collections to an international jury comprised of entrepreneurs, journalists, and buyers who will vote to determine the winner.

Adele Rasini‘s project, titled “Giù al Mincio” for the Fashion Design category, tells a story of craftsmanship and passion. Her aim is to spotlight and elevate the ancient traditions of manual work, characteristic of Made in Italy, focusing on the craftsmanship of her hometown, Rivalta sul Mincio. The collection emphasizes sustainability through handmade techniques using natural and sustainable materials.

Sebastiano Ratti will be featured in the YKK section, the official sponsor of the event, with a look that projects us into the future and explores the concept of symbiosis between humans and technological innovation while preserving values such as craftsmanship and tailoring. Through the use of technical fabrics and innovative materials, his collection “SMBS_2526” brings to life garments and accessories with 3D printing techniques that enhance movement and fluidity.
