BACCANO

Starting from the concept of clothing as a ritual instrument to pay homage to the Dionysian values of pleasure and harmony with nature, the collection draws inspiration from biomimicry and costumes of European rural rituals, taking up their cuts.

The garments are revisited with natural or recycled materials, such as recycled fur and animalistic-looking fabrics. The irregular textures of mushrooms, bark and rocks are evoked through wrinkled and pleated workmanship, while the patterns are created using photos of mold and micelles. Decorating the garments are collars and facings that imitate fig and ivy leaves, completed by hand-made collages with scraps of fabric.
