The Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design is aimed at high school graduates who wish to pursue a career in the world of communication. No specific prerequisites are required, but a strong motivation to undertake a specialized academic path is essential—along with a passion for everything related to the field.

Internship
The curricular internship is a key milestone in the academic journey of the Communication Design degree program. Thanks to a well-established network of over 1,000 partner companies, Istituto Modartech offers personalized internship opportunities both in Italy and abroad, tailored to each student’s area of specialization.
Through ongoing collaborations with renowned companies and professionals, students gain the chance to work side by side with creatives and experts for a period of three to six months, immersing themselves fully in the heart of the fashion industry. An impressive 87% of graduates secure employment upon completing their studies, supported by the Institute’s continuous guidance and job placement services, designed to connect talent with the right opportunities.
Admission
Admission is limited. A motivational interview is required, either in person or online.
The interview is non-binding but necessary to proceed with enrollment, which can begin even before the final high school diploma is obtained.

Visa and permit of stay
Istituto Modartech has a dedicated International Admissions Office that assists students throughout the entire process of obtaining their visa and residence permit. The office provides support at every stage, ensuring a smooth transition for international students. Upon arrival, students will also receive assistance with practical matters such as health insurance, opening a bank account, and more.
Services for International Students
Istituto Modartech offers strong support for out-of-town students, with services to make living and studying away from home easier.
We assist in finding the most suitable accommodation – from shared apartments in Pontedera and nearby towns, to student housing in Pisa (15 minutes by train), or even in Florence (about 40 minutes away). To ease the transition, we connect incoming students before the start of classes to help form groups for shared housing.
We also offer personalized tuition discounts and access to dedicated study spaces including labs, classrooms, the Modartech archive and the Giovanni Gronchi Library.
