METAMORPHOSIS
Metamorphosis is change and rebirth, it is a condition that everyone goes through at least once in their life, whether we think of a work, social, personal or place change: the latter in particular, is the basis on which the collection was born.
The various journeys, which can lead to a personal rebirth, sometimes the “mask” that has protected us for years is thrown away, other times it is put back on. The materials in the collection want to talk about this “nest” from which we can choose to free ourselves; carpet, technical fabric for work shoes, bonded woolen cloth, furnishing fabrics, unusual for clothing, Jacquard patterns that recall places and situations that led to my change, deconstruction of clothes, because the metamorphosis is not always definitive, accessories that recall travel and work shoes created with fabric scraps.
