HIGHER EDUCATION FOR FASHION AND COMMUNICATION DESIGN

Istituto Modartech is an Italian higher academic training centre in the Fashion and Communication fields authorized by the Italian Ministry University and Research – MUR to issue academic degrees in Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance sectors – AFAM.

In addition, the training offer previews courses legally recognized at European level (EQF standard), with a wide educational offer, from fashion to communication design courses, with on campus and online programs as a response to specific needs, aptitudes and goals.

Creativity and talent are guided in an artistic and cultural context which permits to move around in contemporaneity acquiring at the same time specialised and strategic skills.

A complete training and a laboratorial approach which has its strength in the teaching staff coming from the academic and world of work, in a continuous dialogue with the professional world and a constant comparison with the employment world, its planning, times and methods.

Internships are offered as part of the curriculum. It is thanks to this philosophy and method that more than 87% of the students find a job at the end of their training period.

THE VALUE OF INCLUSIVITY

The Modartech Institute adopts education for inclusion, an approach that starts from recognizing and respecting different people and life stories, to implement behaviors aimed at enhancing differences, respecting peculiarities, break down barriers and spread a culture of valorization. The creation of a context and a participatory and collaborative teaching approach that can express individual characteristics, respecting everyone’s educational needs, is fundamental to create an environment where equal opportunities are provided, in a path of educational growth of the individual and the community itself of all students. The inclusion policy carried out in terms of values by the Institute provides a service for DSA students (Specific Learning Disorders) or with different abilities. The service includes the definition of specific support actions for teaching activities, assistance with assessment tests and exams, as well as the identification of specific personalized paths through dispensatory and compensatory measures. The accessibility of the headquarters is guaranteed by architectural barrier-free infrastructure which allows easy entry to the classrooms, laboratories and spaces available to students. Finally, also in terms of digital inclusion, the Institute’s website has been structured by adopting techniques and criteria for easy accessibility, thanks to high contrast visualization, explanatory and understandable content hierarchy, maximum visibility and ease of use of the images.
