Creative Exhibition Sustainable Fashion

The project in collaboration with Guillermo Mariotto focuses on sustainability

Modartech opened its doors to the Creative Exhibition “Sustainable Fashion – Virtual & Craftsmanship”, held from May 7th to 10th at its premises.

The exhibition focused on sustainability, featuring a series of outfits conceived and crafted by young talents from Modartech. They deconstructed and reimagined garments from the historical archive of Gattinoni by Stefano Dominella, under the guidance of designer Guillermo Mariotto.

This upcycling project breathed new life into precious collections that have made history for the Roman maison. Through technique, manipulation and deconstruction, revolutionary garments in contemporary style were born, enriched with meticulous craftsmanship and fine fabrics. Reinventing, recycling, and reusing: through their creativity, the students told a story of sustainability.

The Creative Exhibition was part of Ecodays 2024, an initiative organized by Ecofor Service, which included a series of events to discuss environmental themes in the fashion and design industry.

Among the initiatives, there were also a series of talks dedicated to Modartech students, scheduled at the Piaggio Museum.
