A fusion of creativity and innovation has materialized in our special project, conducted in collaboration with Max Mara Fashion Group, which engaged some of our Fashion Design degree students. From a pool of sixteen promising designers, five talents have been chosen to witness the realization of their own garment inspired by the Sportmax, Weekend Max Mara, Max&Co. and Pennyblack brands.
The project immersed participants in the world of Max Mara, from studying the brand and defining the target audience to conducting research, developing concepts, creating mood boards and proposing final capsule collections. This opportunity represents a seamless blend of creativity and innovation, providing aspiring designers with the chance to collaborate with an iconic Made in Italy brand.
A pivotal aspect of this journey was the visit to the campus and historical archives of Max Mara Fashion Group. This experience allowed students to immerse themselves in the brand’s essence, fostering a deeper understanding of the creative process by physically engaging with materials.
Following careful analysis and invaluable guidance received throughout the project, standout names among the five selected designers include Ilaria De Martino, Sara De Santis, Martina Di Dio, Elena Leone and Adele Rasini.
A special round of applause goes to all the students involved and their teachers, who showcased technique, passion and creativity in every project. Lastly, heartfelt thanks to Max Mara Fashion Group for extending this extraordinary opportunity to our young talents.
