Young and established graphic designer, Modartech alumna, to focus attention on the world of Communication.

Three questions to the former students of Istituto Modartech, precious testimonies of study paths that have resulted in highly qualified work experiences.

The word to Alessia Nigiotti, young and successful graphic designer, former student of Istituto Modartech, to focus attention on the world of Communication.

1. Who are you and what do you do?

Four years after graduating, I gained some experience in the graphic and web sector, in particular in graphics for augmented reality applications (see prototype for Piazza del Duomo and application for Ferrari events).

I am currently refining the social media part for companies and magazines taking care of the online contents of graphics and texts.
I have a good knowledge of SEO and Web Analytics. I also attended a series of in-depth courses at your Modartech facility on graphics & web, SEO and Social media Marketing, in which I learned the basic techniques for managing the web world.

I have a scientific university education (I attended building engineering for two years), and then I obtained a three-year degree in graphics and multimedia with a thesis entitled “A Virtual Reality iPhone application for the Piazza del Duomo in Pisa”.

I am a reflective person, basically technical with a “creative” attitude, sensitive to the particular. In the last three years I have a collaboration with a photographer and video maker Laura Scatena in her graphic studio “Frequenzagrafica settled in Livorno.

A collaboration that lasts to increase my experience in this field, necessary for my training. I love working in a team, innovating and experimenting. I love the new forms of technology applied to communication, especially in the Mobile and Digital fields.

2. What brought you to Istituto Modartech and why you chose it?

After the experience I had at the building engineering faculty in Pisa, strong, demanding but too static, I decided to follow my “creative and artistic” tendency, discovered and valued after the course I attended at Istituto Modartech.

3. What advice would you give to those who want to pursue a career like yours?

The advice I can offer is that you must have a minimum of knowledge of the graphic & web world and even if you graduate, you must always improve and update yourself because, just in this way, you are keeping up with these new technologies.

Alessia has undertaken a career in the world of communication with great success; we at Istituto Modartech do our best luck for his profession is always full of great satisfaction.
